The Office of Litigation handles issues against the department, and other duties which can be found at the link below.

No employee of the department may accept documents requesting information the department holds. The Secretary’s approval must be obtained first. As such, the Office of Litigation is responsible for handling litigation against the department. The Associate General Counsel for Litigation is the designated official in charge of receiving service of process on behalf of the Secretary and other Headquarters employees.

Serving an individual at a government facility

If it is a personal matter involving an employee of the Housing and Urban Development, they must be personally served. Serving a subject personally at this location can be extremely difficult if the subject to be served is unwilling to receive. Security will stop us from entering and must know the reason for service. This, sadly, will notify the subject of our attempt to locate them and may cause them to hide or evade service altogether.

We do provide Advanced Skip Tracing for difficult to locate subjects nationwide. Please click on this link https://www.samedayprocess.com/services/skiptracing.html. Or Just click on “Send A Job” at the top of the screen, then click on “Service of Process.”

"I wish I could give 400 stars!"

My case was a little complicated because the address that I had was a hit or miss. Well they were able to serve the person and get a picture. I couldn't be more satisfied with the service I received from Same Day Process. If you ever need anything served go here!* - M. Greene
